Say What?!

M.I.A. aka London reared, Sri Lankan born singer/fashionista/activist/provocateur extraordinaire has semi-officially announced her premature retirement! The news surprised the crowds at Bonnaroo, during the artist's "last gig" ever. M.I.A, who has spent the last year touring the states and living in Bedstuy, purportedly has plans to build a school in Liberia with the money she's made! At least it's all going towards a good cause, but I'm still sad to see her go.
I hate bittersweet goodbyes.
