i am completely obsessed with Outi Pyy's blog Outsapop and her creative d.i.y. trashionista creations. i love her re-use, re-invent philosophy (which, luckily, works with my budget!)- because it always results in something fresh and innovative. my favorite of her "trashions" are her zipper collars, which were inspired by comme des garçons. Outi's refigurations add her own touch to the final product, making it more personal and, in my opinion, more interesting. as an avid d.i.y.-er, the blog is even more fun because she often gives step by step instructions on how to go about making whatever she's making at any given moment- and she always has loads of pictures that you can access on her flickr if the tutorial wasn't enough.
