Some time around the turn of the century, when Katy Perry was still singing Christian rock, the music biz already had a duo of "faux-lesbians" topping the charts. The names Lena Katina and Yulia Volkova probably mean very little to you but I'm sure the image of these two young Russians kissing on TRL as part of their t.A.T.u shtick is burned into your head for an eternity. Lord knows the clip was played on repeat enough. Years later the duo has the world chattering once again - this time because they are set to be the new faces of Marc by Marc Jacobs (in Russia).
