I don't just got love for Wesleyan- I can sometimes muster up some love for my years at a religious prep school. Especially when it involves people growing up to do really dope things- like a Ferris Bueller reenactment.
I came across this message on Urban Prankster, from Mina Karimi:
On September 6th, I am staging a large performance art piece that requires 6-8 hundred people recreating the parade scene from Ferris Bueller at the Deitch Art Parade in Soho. I am recruiting secret agents in the audience of the parade to mimic the extras in the movie as my Ferris float approaches. In order to fully reproduce the spirit of the scene I will need at least 100 agents on each block of the parade to get the Ferris joy-ball rolling.I personally love this movie and think it sounds like a lot of fun! So if you're in NYC and you're interested, you should definitely hit Mina up and check out the project over at tumblr.
This is what I want to happen:
If this looks like a nice Saturday afternoon activity for you, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for further details and instructions.
