According to this article in the LA Times, hypercolor is back, and we should all be excited for its re-arrival into our lives. While I'm all for crazy colors and funky looking clothes, I'm not so sure I'll be welcoming this 90's fad back into my life.
Secondly, although heat sensitive dye and color changing tricks are nifty, I wouldn't want to be caught dead in a hypercolor outfit on a hot day. Talk about highlighting uncomfortable areas. I'm not sure I know many people who like (or want) to show off how much they sweat on a daily basis, but hey, who am I to judge...
Basically, I don't think I'll be jumping on the bandwagon this time around, although I wouldn't mind a pair of these Alexandra Cassaniti hypercolor sunglasses. They use the technology in a fun, underwhelming way- one that I can definitely stomach.

its not usually my style to wear hyper colors, but they could look good paired with darker colors.
I think the brights could look good if used very sparingly...
yeah, this could be really embarrassing at a dance party- but the sunglasses are great!
I think hyper change is very cool. I want at least one shirt, though I'm not certain when or where I will wear it...
i remember my friend had hypercolor shoes and i thought they were the coolest things. but you'er right... it could possibly be embarassing what with the sweating on a hot day... haha. but, the glasses are nice. i like the idea. =)
